The WisePad 3 is the credit card processing device that works with the legacy PatronTicket Box Office Android app. To use the device, you need to first pair it with your Android device running the app. The whole process should take you about 10 minutes.

The WisePad 3 only works with Bluefin. Here's how to tell which payment processor you're using.
Before you begin!
- Be sure you have an accessible WiFi connection
- Ensure Location Services is enabled on your Android device
- Register and activate your WisePad 3 in P2PE Manager
1. Power on your Android tablet
Make sure you have an Android tablet device running the latest Android OS version. If you need suggestions on which type of Android tablet to purchase, you may refer to our device buyer's guide.
If you haven't already, make sure that Location Services is enabled on your device! Location Services must be enabled for the PatronTicket Box Office App to pair with the Wisepad device.
2. Download the PatronTicket Box Office App
Search "PatronTicket Box Office" in the Google Play store.
3. Open the PatronTicket Box Office App

Search your Apps for "Box Office"
4. Pair the WisePad 3 with your Android device
4.1. Make sure the Android tablet's Bluetooth is on, but do not go into the Bluetooth settings and try to pair
You can typically see this by opening your tablet's quick settings or setting menu. The Bluetooth logo should indicate it is enabled.
4.2. Power on the WisePad 3. The LCD screen will show the BBPOS logo and the device will beep twice
If you see this error:

4.3. Go into the PatronTicket Box Office app’s Settings
Long tap somewhere on the screen in order to expose a blue menu at the top. Click the three dots on the right to locate the app's settings
4.6. Select the located device (it may show a series of numbers beginning with WP, which is the serial number on the back of your WisePad 3)
4.7. Accept the passkey on both devices if prompted
4.8. The WisePad 3 is now connected!
We recommend you perform a test transaction to confirm the pairing was successful. Hit the back button on your android to return to the sale screen.
