Calling all box office admins! The new year is a great time to check in with your PTS. Join us as we review our recommended best practices for maintenance, and cover all the great features you might have missed for the Public Ticketing Site.

We recommend setting the video quality to 720p (click on the gear at the lower-right of the embedded video) and watching the video in full-screen mode, if possible.  

Checklist

For reference, here's the checklist from the webinar:

  1. PTS Theme
    1. Check your accessibility
    2. Consider uploading an alternate header image for mobile
  2. Events, including their content (images etc)
  3. Event Categories
  4. Subscriptions, including their content
  5. Memberships, including their content
  6. Print-at-Home tickets
  7. Automated Communication templates
  8. Confirmation email templates
  9. PatronTicket Settings!
    1. Give it a full read, but especially:
    2. Delivery options/messaging
    3. Order sources
    4. Category filters
    5. Event/Subscription/Membership content/links
    6. Confirmation page
    7. Footer content and error contact info
    8. Donation ask
    9. Portal messaging
  10. Check on new features you may have missed, for example:
    1. PTS cart timer
    2. Disabling the Discount page in the checkout flow
  11. Set a calendar reminder to do this next season!
