When mapping a Static Segment - that is, using a report to create a Tag in MailChimp - you'll see one of several values in the "Status" field.

Here's an example of a Static Segment Mapping with "Idle" Status:

"Status" values and what they mean

  • Idle - Nothing's happening. The static segment uploaded successfully as a Tag in MailChimp and is waiting to be used or re-uploaded. 
  • Queuing - The static segment is getting in line to be uploaded to MailChimp. 
  • Queued - The static segment is waiting in line to be uploaded to MailChimp. 
  • Preparing Contacts - Contacts from your report are being gathered together to upload to MailChimp. 
  • Subscribing Contacts - Contacts from your report are being uploaded into MailChimp.
  • Adding Segment Members - Contacts are being added / updated in the Tag in MailChimp. 
  • Error - We'll need to take a look to see what went wrong.  Submit a case to our Support Team via the Client Community.
