Use this to "break out" the details of subscription sales in a particular time frame – this report will show you the effective value of each event's tickets in a subscription. When you run the Daily Sales Report, you'll see the revenue for each subscription package sold; this report is how you can see how that revenue breaks out to each show in the package.

How to access the report:

You can access the report directly from the Financial Reports tab.

The Subscription Breakout Report link lands on Event Inventory.  Find the subscription you want to report on and click the "Subscription Breakout Report" button

Here's a walkthrough of the different sections of the report:
  1. If you got here via the Daily Sales Report, this will be the original date range you entered; otherwise you'll have selected a date range on the settings page.
  2. The Sales Summary and Payment Summary show you the total amount of subscription packages sold -- this will be the same number shown on the Daily Sales Report for this timeframe.
  3. The Net Sales By Fulfillment Event section breaks out the subscription package into its component events, and shows the "effective sale" of each of those events.
  4. The Fulfillment Payment Summary section details any money that's currently assigned to individual subscription fulfillment items, and it accounts for any money that's been added or subtracted due to exchanges or refunds.

Explained another way:

If you run this report for the run of your whole season's sales, the total you see for any of the component events will match the "subscription totals" section of that event's Performance Report:

Note: Right now this report can be used to break out revenues by subscription Event only, not by Instance or Allocation. If you need a breakout at that level, contact us and we can help set up a custom report for you.
