App Details

Good for:

Organizations who want to integrate their Outlook address book (i.e., Contacts, custom objects) and emails and appointments with PatronManager. Also, to integrate Contacts and Accounts and templates from PatronManager to Outlook.

How it works:

This is an Outlook Integration, not an AppExchange App. You can install this right from your Microsoft account. Each person at your organization who wants to use this feature will have to set up the integration on their own computer.

Note: Salesforce suggests pairing the Outlook Integration with a separate Salesforce product called Einstein Activity Capture, which we do not recommend.

When you install the Outlook Integration, ignore the prompts about Einstein Activity Capture.

Outlook Integration vs. Salesforce for Outlook

This Outlook integration replaces the legacy "Salesforce for Outlook" integration, which Salesforce has scheduled for retirement in 2027.

If you are switching from the legacy Outlook connector, you can learn more about the differences here. As noted above, we do not recommend Einstein Activity Capture, only the Outlook Integration.
