The free version requires manual data entry, but there's also a more robust paid version.

Good for: 

Quickly capturing the details from business cards collected at conferences, meetings, networking, etc.

How it works: 

Using a companion app on your mobile device, business cards are photographed and sent over to PatronManager, where the information will get saved as a Contact record.

If you'll be scanning business cards, you'll also need to download the Scan for Salesforce app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for your mobile device.

You'll have the option to add a voice memo or notes to give more context to the card details and even take a secondary picture to associate with the card, like of the back of the card.

In PatronManager, scanned cards are found in a Scanning Queue, where you  or a colleague can review the scan quality and make sure the details were captured the way you want them to before a new Contact is created.
