Good for:
Organizations that want to streamline and simplify their database, ridding it of old, under-utilized fields. Field Trip is also a good way to learn if there are gaps in your data--for example, are you missing a lot of patron phone numbers?
How it works:
Create a scenario called a "field trip" for any standard or custom object and Field Trip runs an analysis of all records and fields and tells you what percentage of the records have each field populated.

Here's a "field trip" that we created to analyze Accounts who have made donations recently.
We want to make sure that we have all of the most important fields filled out on those accounts.
Here are the results of the Field Trip analysis. We see that only 2/3 of donor accounts have the city field populated.
And here we see on the field analysis for all Accounts, only 3.2% have the "type" field populated, suggesting that either the field is not needed, or the options are not relevant and needs to be customized further.
