How it works:
Nintex Document Generation (also known as DocGen) pulls data from any object within Salesforce (and even some external sources) into dynamic document templates, in a variety of formats, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint or PDF. Documents can be delivered by email or be made ready for printing and mailing. A mass merge options is also available at certain price levels.

The Nintex DocGen Package Wizard will guide you through the process of creating your documents, setting up delivery options, and mapping data from the relevant PatronManager objects.
This area is for your DocGen Administrator to set up all the document options in advance that meet the needs of various departments across your organization. Some examples might be acknowledgment letters, major donor one-sheets, contracts, custom receipts.
For "end users", documents can be generated from standard or custom buttons on relevant PatronManager objects such as Accounts, Contacts, Donations, or custom objects.
Chose from the options that your DocGen administrator has made available and have a document ready to go in just a few clicks.
