Good for:
Admins who want to take stock of PatronManager and better understand the objects and fields that make up their CRM. This is a great tool to use when reviewing customizations (particularly formula fields and picklists), when working with consultants, and more.
How it works:
Select one or more objects to extract and Field Dumper generates an Excel spreadsheet that includes field names, types, help text and more.
Once you've decided what objects to include, an Excel spreadsheet is generated, with one tab per object.
The Field Dumper app lets you explore all of your Salesforce objects in a well-organized Excel doc.
This is a great way to see at a glance what your formula fields are made up of, or what help text exists in order to customize it further for your organization.
