Pricing:
The free version offers limited features and functionality. The paid version is based on number of users, and costs $15 per license, per year. Normally there is a minimum of 10 licenses for the paid version, but this requirement is waived for nonprofits.
Good for:
Calling attention to important fields or buttons on your page layouts.
How it works:
By setting up "actions," an administrator can choose to highlight certain fields on page layouts all the time, or only when certain conditions are met. You can also use this app to hide or rename buttons when certain conditions are met.
Let's call attention to the "birthdate" field on the Contact record so we can be sure to wish our patrons a happy birthday.
It's easy to set up an action to highlight the field, and chose a color that's eye catching but not too distracting.
Optionally, you can add parameters to your action, so you're only highlighting the field if certain conditions are met.
In this case, we are only going to highlight the phone number field if it is currently blank and the Account has a Lifetime Donation total that's more than $1000.
This way we can see that we're missing important data from this patron.
*Note that the free version of this app only gives you the ability to highlight standard Salesforce fields on standard Salesforce objects (Accounts, Contacts, Donations), though you can add filters that use custom and PatronManager fields. The examples above use this free version, but we can think of a lot of cool things we could do with the paid version too!
