If you're using Campaigns, you already know donations associated with the Campaign will automatically roll up to the "Value Won Donations" field on the Campaigns. Did you know there's also a field that rolls up all the donations in the entire Campaign hierarchy? The best part is, you just need to make the fields visible so you can start using them. Keep reading to get rolling (rolling up, that is).
1. Navigate to Setup by clicking the gear icon, then clicking "Setup"
2. Click on the Object Manager
3. Type "campaign" into the quick find box, then click on the Campaign object
4. Click on "Fields & Relationships"
5. Find "Actual Cost in Hierarchy" and click it
6. Click "Set Field-Level Security"
7. Click the "Visible" checkbox to let you and your colleagues see this field, and click "Save"
8. Click "Back to Campaign Fields"
9. Repeat steps 3-6 for the other "Hierarchy" fields
- Budgeted Cost in Hierarchy
- Contacts in Hierarchy
- Expected Revenue in Hierarchy
- Num Sent in Hierarchy
- Opportunities in Hierarchy
- Responses in Hierarchy
- Value Opportunities in Hierarchy
- Value Won Opportunities in Hierarchy
- Won Opportunities in Hierarchy
Remember that in the back end of PatronManager, Opportunities means Donations.
