How to Generate Individual Mail Merges in PatronManager

In PatronManager, you can generate mail merge documents directly from a Donation record - great when a patron loses their letter for tax purposes, or just for every day acknowledgment. Let's get it done!

1. Use Global Search to find the Donation record you want

2. Click the Mail Merge action

Don't see the Mail Merge action? You may still need to create it or add it to the page layout.

Find the donation you'd like to acknowledge

3. Choose your mail merge template and click "Generate"

Don't see an appropriate mail merge template? Create one here!

Choose your mail merge template and click "Save"

4. Click "Save" to log that you've created the acknowledgment letter, and then...

An email with the merged document will be sent to you - Click "Save" to log that you've done this.

5. ...Head to your email inbox to find the merged document

You've generated a mail merge to acknowledge another donor! Give yourself a round of applause.
