How to Add a Custom Status to a Campaign

Out of the box, Campaigns come with a few Statuses for Members, like "Sent" or "Responded."

But what if you want more customized Statuses?

You can add custom Statuses to Campaigns in just a few steps! Read on to find out how.

1. Find the campaign you'd like to edit

Find the campaign in the Campaigns tab

2. Hover over Campaign Member Status in the Quick Links area; then, click the "New" button

Click "Advanced Setup"

3. Type in the name of the value you want to add

4. Decide whether you want to count this value as a response

Do you want to consider that a person with this status has responded to your campaign? If so, check this box. If you're not sure, it's best to leave it unchecked. In this case we're going to leave it unchecked, because we don't want to count a person we're talking to about a donation to the campaign as a response.

5. Click "Save"

6. The status will be added!
