Have you ever wanted to give a special group of your patrons access to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public?

PatronManager gives you the power to set up Pre-Sales for specific Event Instances / Allocations in different ways. In this article, you'll learn about your Pre-Sale options:

Access Codes

Access Codes generate custom URLs that provide certain patrons access to Ticket Allocations not available to the general public. You'll create an Access Code, apply it to one or more Allocations on an Event Instance, and then send the URL to your select patrons. Anyone with this URL can access the Event Instance, so patrons can share the link with each other.

Because Access Codes are Allocation-specific, you can gate special seats or pricing behind the Access Code, as well. If you use this option and eventually want to open the seats up for general purchase, you'll need to update the allocations manually.

Access Codes are especially convenient if your organization doesn't use PatronPortal, Memberships, or Benefits, but still want to give eligible patrons access to exclusive offerings.

Early Access Benefits

If you use Patron Portal, you can give Portal members with certain benefits pre-sale access to an event before it goes on sale to the General Public.

Once you create a Member/Passcode Access on your Event Instance(s) and apply it to a Benefit Level, all Portal members with that Benefit Level will be able to purchase tickets to those Event Instances when they log in to Portal.
