How to Clear Printed Date on Tickets

Have you ever needed to "unprint" tickets? These instructions will show you how to clear the Printed Date field on tickets (and uncheck the "Printed" checkbox on tickets in the process).

1. Navigate to the Contact with the tickets you need to unprint, and find the Ticket Order Items related list

You may have Ticket Order Items as a Related List Quick Links on the Contact:

Or you may need to go to the Related tab and find it:

2. Copy the entire Item Number of the ticket(s) you want to un-print into your clipboard (Ctrl + C), and paste the number(s) someplace; you'll be using this in a moment

You may have to click "View All" to find the right Ticket Order Item if this contact has lots of ticket buying history.

3. Take the URL in your browser bar and remove everything after "force.com/"

4. Add "apex/PatronTicket__ClearPrintedDate" to the end of the remaining URL

The URL should now look something like: https://YOURDOMAIN.lightning.force.com/apex/PatronTicket__ClearPrintedDate

5. Paste the first Ticket Item number you want to un-print into the box

6. To un-print multiple Ticket Order Items (TOIs) at once, enter them on the same page one per line

7. Click "Submit" and then click "OK" when you see the warning message that follows

Please note this action is indeed irreversible, so make sure you're cool with that.

8. VoilĂ ! Tickets have been returned to their previous un-printed state
