Introduction to Ticket Orders: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/905868
Almost every box office transaction in PatronManager is stored as a ticket order - it doesn't matter if the transaction is for a single ticket or a subscription package. In this introduction, you'll learn:
- What does a ticket order look like?
- How do I find a specific patron's ticket order?
- Can I see a list of all ticket orders?
- How do ticket orders get created?
- Can you show me how to get to the PatronTicket Hub?
- The PatronTicket Hub is the center for all things ticketing!
1. What does a ticket order look like?
Let's take a quick tour of a completed ticket order:
- At the top of the order, you'll see basic information like the order's status. This one is complete - it's been totally paid for.
- Next, you'll see some info about the patron.
- In the upper-right, you'll see the total paid, including fees and donations.
- You'll click into these sections of the ticket order when you need to complete these actions - printing the tickets, exchanging, and refunding.
- Here they are - the tickets! Click the expandable arrow for more detail about each ticket purchased.
- If your patron made a donation, it'll be listed below the tickets.
2. How do I find a specific patron's ticket order?
First, search for the patron in the global search bar, then click on their Contact record:
On their Contact record, click Ticket Orders in the Related List Quick Links section:
You'll see all their ticket orders! Click one to get to the ticket order itself.
3. Can I see a list of all ticket orders?
You bet! On the PatronTicket Hub, click View Ticket Orders:
Orders can be filtered by status, date, and more:
- Reservations are ticket orders for which no payment has been processed.
- Partially Paid ticket orders have processed payment, but that payment is for less than the total cost of the ticket order.
- To Be Qualified ticket orders need to be associated with either a new or existing contact in PatronManager.
- Complete ticket orders have been fully paid and processed.
- Automatically Qualified ticket orders were qualified by the system, because the information in the ticket order exactly matched the information in one of your contact records.
- Subscription Orders are exactly what they sound like: ticket orders that are part of a subscription package.
- Pending Renewal orders are for seats that are being held for patrons who have not yet renewed their subscriptions.
- Membership Orders are memberships that are sold through the Ticketing path.
- Awaiting Fulfillment orders are ticket orders for a subscription package to which you have not yet assigned dates and seats.
- Exceptions are ticket orders for which there was a problem processing payment or sending the confirmation email.
- In-Progress Online Orders are Ticket Orders patrons have started on your Public Ticketing Site (PTS) but have not completed yet; use this view only for picking up an order a patron started online if they call you to complete the transaction
- My Draft Orders are orders you've saved for later without completing - these orders do not hold seats and automatically delete after an hour.
4. How do ticket orders get created?
In one of two ways:
You and your staff sell tickets to patrons via PatronManager Box Office:
Head to the PatronTicket Hub tab and click Sell Tickets:
This is our favorite way to sell tickets to patrons! It's sleek, modern, and easy to use.
