CVV Codes in PatronManager Transactions: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/1525718
The CVV code, also known as a security code, is printed on all major credit and debit cards. It is required to process a credit card transaction in PatronManager.
In this article, we'll talk about what happens when you need to process a credit card with a specific CVV: 000.
CVV of "000"
As a security measure, cards with a CVV of "000" cannot be processed in PatronManager. At this point, most banks have stopped issuing cards with 000 as the CVV, on the advice of the credit card companies, but not all banks have done this. People whose cards have a CVV of 000 may want to contact their financial institution and get a new card issued.
While this comes up very infrequently (less than 0.01% of all transactions run through PatronManager), if you encounter a situation where a patron has a CVV of "000", the patron will need to finish the transaction with another payment method.
