A tab is a place where you can see a list of records within a specific object. For example, the Contacts tab will display a list of the Contacts in your PatronManager account.

This article defines the most commonly used tabs and offers helpful links for each tab. We also include which apps include the tab.

How to access a list of all your tabs and apps

Click on the App Launcher

These are all your apps

An app is a specific set of tabs that are grouped together.

For example, if you click on the PMGR Fundraising tab, you'll see all the tabs you'll usually need to perform typical fundraising activities, such as Accounts, Contacts, Donations, Campaigns, Reports, and more.

You may have more tabs than this because of custom apps or objects you've installed or created.

Access Codes

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

Create Access Codes in this tab, which generate custom URLs that provide access to ticket allocations not available to the general public.

Accounts

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing, Emma Email Marketing

All of the Accounts in your system are found in this tab. Accounts are containers for Contacts - you can have Accounts for households, individuals, businesses, and foundations. Each Account can have one or more contacts. Learn more about your Account and Contact data structure here: Accounts and Contacts

Affiliations Settings

This tab contains various settings that relate to the Organization Affiliations package. We used to suggest Affiliations for associating a single Contact with multiple Accounts. Now, we recommend Related Accounts.

Batch Ticket Printing

This tab allows you to batch print tickets to multiple events and instances. You can print either Single Tickets or Subscription Ticket Orders from this tab.

Campaigns

Available in These Apps: PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing, PatronChimp

In this tab you can create Campaigns for your special events, fundraising efforts, and marketing mailers.

Chatter

Chatter is a built-in communication tool that can help improve productivity and inter-departmental communication, and enhance your CRM experience.

Contacts

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing, Emma Email Marketing

All of the Contacts in your system are found in this tab. Contact records are individual people with specific information about them. Each Contact has one Account.

CRM Snapshots

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing

CRM Snapshots are reports that allow you to run more complex queries than Salesforce reporting alone can do.

Dashboards

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing, Emma Email Marketing

Dashboards are visual representations of report data.

Devices

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

This contains a listing of all the Android devices your organization uses to scan tickets.

Discount Codes

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Ticketing Settings

Create Discount Codes in this tab, which will allow you to offer special discounts to select patrons for specific performances or events.

Documents

This tab can be used to store images and files that you would like to use in PatronManager. This tab is most commonly used for event images and print-at-home ticket images, but can only be accessed by navigating to Salesforce Classic with these steps.

Donation Forms

Available in These Apps: PMGR General Settings

This tab houses the online donation forms that you can offer to your patrons. You can modify existing forms or create new forms from this tab.

Donations

Available in These Apps: PMGR Fundraising

All of the single Donation records in your system can be found in this tab.

Emma Tabs

You'll only see these tabs if your organization uses Emma as your email marketing integration.

Available in These Apps: Emma Email Marketing

Emma users will see seven tabs with Emma as the first word - Emma Actions, Emma Errors, Emma Group Memberships, Emma Mailings, Emma Response Activities, and Emma Setup.  

Event Inventory

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Ticketing Settings

This tab houses all of the events in your system. You can review past events, edit existing events, or create new events from this tab. You can learn more about specific terms used in the Event Inventory with our glossary.

Fee Setup

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

You can adjust the fees that are applied to Ticket Orders and Ticket Order Items here.

Financial Reports

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing Admin

If you are in need of reports that relate to your finances, ticket sales, and donations, this is the tab for you!

Home

This tab is the default landing page when you log into your PatronManager account.

Membership Setup

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

If you sell Memberships with associated ticketing Benefits, you can set those up in this tab.

Organization Settings

Available in This App: PMGR General Settings

This tab includes internal settings that relate to your transactions. For the most part, the components of this tab are managed by Patron Technology staff, and you will not need to adjust any of these settings unless advised otherwise.

PatronChimp

You'll only see this tab if your organization uses MailChimp as your email marketing integration.

This tab walks you through the process of sending an email using a PatronManager list synced to MailChimp.

PatronManager Help

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Marketing, PMGR General Settings, PMGR Ticketing Settings

The tab in which you currently are and gives you access to help documents, videos, release notes, and webinar recordings.

PatronTicket Hub

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin

The PatronTicket Hub is a centralized location that box office workers can use as a home base throughout PatronManager. It features icons for all common box office duties, including selling tickets, reporting on ticket sales, printing tickets, and more.

PatronTicket Orders

This tab contains all of your Ticket Orders. From this tab, new orders can be created and past orders can be reviewed and modified.

PatronTicket Settings

Available on These Tabs: PMGR Ticketing Settings

This tab contains various settings that relate to the Ticketing features of PatronManager. Visit this tab to change your box office email template settings, adjust your ticket design, and more!

Pledges

This tab contains non-credit card pledges and is a third-party created app that is not natively installed in PatronManager.

Instead, we recommend moving to our Pledges package!

Recurring Donations

Available in These Apps: PMGR Fundraising

This tab provides access to recurring credit card donations.

Relationships Settings

This tab contains various settings that relate to the Relationships package. If you do not have this tab, then the Relationships package is not installed in your system.

Because the Relationships package is not native to PatronManager, we are unable to assist with it.

Reports

Available in These Apps: PatronManager, PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising, PMGR Marketing, Emma Email Marketing, PatronChimp

This tab brings you to your reports. Here, you can view and modify existing reports, schedule future runs, and create reports from scratch.

Seat Notes

This tab contains all current Seat Notes that are applied to your venue(s).

Signup Forms

Available in These Apps: PMGR General Settings

This tab houses the online email signup forms that you can offer to your patrons. You can modify existing forms or create new forms from this tab.

Static Segment Mapping

You'll only see this tab if your organization uses MailChimp as your email marketing integration.

Available in These Apps: PatronChimp

Static Segments link your PatronManager report to your MailChimp account.

Subscription Renewal

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Ticketing Settings

This tab walks you through the steps you will need to take to process renewals of your fixed subscription packages.

Terminals

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

This is a listing of all the credit card processing terminals you've activated to use with PatronManager.

Unqualified Contact List

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing, PMGR Ticketing Admin, PMGR Fundraising

This tab provides quick access to all unqualified records in your system.

Venues

Available in These Apps: PMGR Ticketing Settings

This tab contains all of the venues available in your account. To create a new General Admission venue, click here. New Reserved Seating venues must be built by the PatronManager team via a Venue Project.
