How to Log Calls in PatronManager

The "log a call" feature lets you keep a record of all your interactions with your patrons. Despite the name on the button, it's not just for logging phone calls -- you can also keep track of meetings and any other conversations you might have.

You can also schedule an open follow up task, perhaps assigned to another person on your staff.

1. Navigate to the record you'd like to associate with the call

This example uses a Contact record, but you can also log calls on Accounts, Donations, or any other record type.

2. Go to the Activity tab to the right on the Contact record, and click the "Log a Call" action

2. Scroll down to the "Activity History" section an press "Log a Call"

3. Fill out the information from your call, and click "Save"

  1. Subject: Enter a short subject line from your call
  2. Comments: Enter important notes about your call
  3. Name: Connect the call to the patron's Contact
  4. Related to: Select the Account associated with the Contact
  5. Click "Save"

4. If you'd like, you can schedule a follow-up task on the logged call as well
