How to Create Ad-hoc Seat Notes and Ticket Notes for a Reserved Seating Venue: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/959483
Seat Notes can be used to notify your patrons of particular characteristics of certain seats in your venue, such as Obstructed View, Accessible Seating, or Companion Seats. Seat Notes that are present in the venue for every event in that space should be indicated during the venue build process. This article will go over how to add a seat note to a particular event that is specific to that event.
If you didn't include these Seat Notes during the original build of your venue and you want to add them so that they apply globally, submit a venue project request and our team can assist. Note that updates to venues may only be reflected in Event Instances created after the venue has been updated.
Ticket Notes can be used to display information on your Point-of-Sale and/or Print-at-Home tickets about individual seats, such as aisle or entry door. If your ticket design layout does not include Ticket Notes, you can use the Ticket Design Tool to add them.
4. Fill in the following information:
- The Name is an internal name for the seat note.
- The Note is the seat note that will appear in the cart area at checkout.
- The Acknowledgement will present text to the patron in a pop-up window, prompting them to confirm their choice.
- The Event Instance is the instance that this seat note should be available for. You can select other instances later in the article!
6. To add this seat note to additional instances, click "Clone"
7. Once you have created all of your seat notes, go to the Event Instance(s) they are applied to using the Event Instance link
9. Select the section and seat(s) where the seat note should appear
You'll see some text on this screen that recommends you contact PatronManager to create or edit seat notes (circled in pink below). This text exists for people who find the seat notes page by accident - not you! Continue on with the steps in this article to finish assigning your seat notes.
13. You have applied your seat notes! Repeat those steps for each instance that requires a seat note
But wait, what if I want to create a Ticket Note?
If you want to create a Ticket Note, you can create one using these same steps!
The only difference is that in step 11, you'll select "Ticket Note" as your Type.
If you want your Ticket Notes to then appear on your Point-of-Sale and/or Print-at-Home tickets and they don't automatically, you can use the Ticket Design Tool to add Ticket Notes.
You can also ensure Ticket Notes appear on Mobile Tickets with these steps.
