What are my presale options?
Member/Passcode Access
Passcodes give your patrons early access to tickets by entering a password on your public ticketing site.

Do I need Portal to use this?
Nope! Your patrons only need the Passcode. If you're already using PatronPortal, and you want to give your members the same (or different) early access, you can associate their Benefit Level with a Member/Passcode Access record -- either with a Passcode or without.
Benefit Levels
Benefit Levels are privileges extended to patrons because of some status they have with you - a membership, a subscription, a reward for volunteering. Benefits might include discounted tickets and early access to purchase tickets before the general public.

Do I need Portal to use this?
Short answer: to get the most out of this feature, yes.
Better answer: If you don't have PatronPortal, you can still assign Benefits to your patrons, will give them discounts when purchasing tickets from you in person or over the phone. However, Portal is required to grant your members their benefits when they're purchasing tickets online.
Discount Codes
Discount Codes are a great way for you to offer discounted tickets to select groups of patrons. They can be used for promotions, or to offer comp tickets to your patrons. PatronManager offers multiple discount code options that you can create.

Do I need Portal to use this?
Nope, but it can be used in conjunction with or alongside Early Access for PatronPortal users and Access Codes.
Access Codes
Access Codes give your patrons private access to seats in a specific Allocation. They're typically shared via a special URL, but you can also link them directly to Member/Passcode Access, so your Portal members or Passcode users can automatically purchase those otherwise-hidden seats during their presale - no special link required.

Do I need Portal to use this?
Nope! Your patrons only need the unique URL link. If you're already using PatronPortal, and you want to give your users the same (or different) access to seats, you can associate their Benefit Level with a Member/Passcode Access record -- and connect the Access Code.

You can use many of these options in conjunction, connecting Discount Codes to a Benefit Level, or connecting an Access Code to Member/Passcode Access, for the best results.
