Sometimes, you may need to change your venue's display name, address, or the information about your venue that appears on your public ticketing site. This lesson will show you how to do that.

1. Click on the App Launcher

2. Scroll down and click on "Venues"

Click on "Venues"

3. Click the name of the venue you wish to edit

Click the name of the venue you wish to edit

4. Click "Edit"

Press "Edit"

This is your venue detail screen.

5. Edit the venue information

If you don't have mobile tickets enabled
  1. Name: The name of the venue -- this will appear on the public ticketing site and on point-of-sale and print-at-home tickets.
  2. Display Name: An optional field that can display instead of the venue name on your ticketing site and tickets. Use this is you have more than one version of a venue (e.g. with a pit and without).
  3. Address Information: This address field is what appears on the Print-at-Home ticket, but NOT on the Public Ticketing Site (PTS).
  4. Seating Chart: If you want to include an image of the venue, let us know and we'll upload the seating chart for you.
  5. Venue Layout: If this is a pick your own seat venue, this is the actual venue file. If you need to edit the way the venue map displays on your site, please refer to All About Updating Venues.
  6. Group Sections in Legend: With this option selected, the public ticketing site will display a shorter list of section groups rather than a list of all sections.
  7. Skip Section Selection: If your Venue only has a single section, bypass the Section Selection map on the PTS by checking this.
  8. Invert Stage Arrow: Check this to rotate the direction the Stage arrow on your seat map appears 180°.
  9. Active: Leave this checked if you want to use this venue - Event Instances can only happen in venues that are marked as active!
  10. Detail: This is the field that does appear on the public ticketing site -- that means you might in fact have the venue address in both this box and the "Address Information" one and that's fine. This field is also useful for displaying information about parking, or any other information you want your patrons to have about the venue. Images can also be added to this field.
  11. Print At Home Detail: This field displays in the venue information box in the Print-at-Home ticket. To add an image here to appear on your Print-at-Home tickets, use the image icon to insert an image with from your Documents tab.

  11. Time Zone Override: If this Venue is in a different time zone than your account's time zone, use this to specify what time zone mobile tickets in this Venue should use. If no selection is made, this defaults to your account's time zone, which can be viewed on the Venue page before editing.
  12. Mobile Ticket Venue Detail: This field displays in the detail for each ticket to an Event Instance at a given Venue and on the back of mobile tickets in Apple and Google Wallet, as seen here.

6. Click "Save"

When you're all done, click Save and your changes will take effect. Of course, you can always press the Cancel button if you decide you don't want your changes to take effect.
