How to Mark Subscription Orders as "Did Not Renew": https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/1676106
When processing subscription renewals with the Subscription Renewal Tool, PatronManager will generate Pending Renewal orders for your subscribers. From there, you or your subscribers can finish the purchase process, allowing your subscribers to buy their new subscriptions.
But what happens when a subscriber doesn't renew their subscription?
When subscribers opt not to renew their subscription, you can mark their Pending Renewal order as "Did Not Renew." This will not only note that your subscriber didn't renew their subscription, it will also return any seats held by the subscription back into your inventory so you can sell them.
In this article, we'll show you:
- How to mark individual orders as "Did Not Renew"
- How to mark multiple orders at once as "Did Not Renew"
These are the only ways to mark subscriptions as "Did Not Renew."
Marking subscription orders as "Did Not Renew" any other way will result in errors and issues in your account, including the inability to return previously-held seats back to your inventory.
How to mark individual orders
To mark an individual order as "Did Not Renew," click the "Did Not Renew" button from the Pending Renewal order.
Once you click this button, the Status of the order will change to "Did Not Renew" and all items will be returned to your inventory so that you can sell them to other patrons.
How to mark orders en masse
You can mark multiple orders as "Did Not Renew" all at once by going through the Renewal Log for your Subscription Series in the Subscription Renewal Tool.
3. Check the subscribers who you want to mark as "Did Not Renew"
If there's no checkbox next to a subscription, that means that the order is not in a Pending Renewal Status and cannot be marked as "Did Not Renew."
