Seat Notes can be used to notify your patrons of particular characteristics of certain allocations of seats in your venue, such as Obstructed View, Handicap accessible, or Companion Seats.

This article will go over how to add a custom seat note to an allocation of seats in a general admission event.

1. Click on the App Launcher

Go to the "+" All Tabs View

2. Search "seat note" and click on the Seat Notes link

Click on the "Seat Notes" tab

3. Click "New"

4. Fill in the Name, Note, Acknowledgement, and Event Instance fields

  1. The Name is an internal name for the seat note.
  2. The Note is the seat note that will appear in the cart area at checkout.
  3. The Acknowledgement will present text to the patron in a pop-up window, prompting them to confirm their choice.
  4. The Event Instance is the instance that this seat note should be available for. You can select other instances later in the article!

5. Click "Save"

6. To add this seat note to additional instances, click Clone

7. When cloning, search for a new Event Instance

Once you have created all of your seat notes, go to the Event Instance(s) they are applied to using the Event Instance link

9. On the Event Instance, click "Edit All" in the Ticket Allocations section

10. In the Allocation(s) of your choice, use the Seat Note field to select the seat note that should be applied to that group of seats

11. Click "Save"

12. You have applied your seat note! Repeat those steps for each instance that requires a seat note.
