Want to track information like the scheduled length of a Ticketable Event's intermission, or your ticket sales goal for a specific Event Instance, in PatronManager?  You can, by creating new custom fields.

The process is very similar to creating custom fields for Contacts and Accounts, so if you've never created a custom field before, check out that article first.

1. Click on the gear in the upper right-hand corner, and click on Setup

If you're adding a field to an Event Instance, you'll find and click "Event Instance" instead.

3. Go to "Fields & Relationships" and click "New"

4. Create your field

Need help deciding what type of field to use?  Check out the "Creating Custom Fields" article for in-depth information on custom field types.

5. Alright! You can now see and use your field!

Unlike Contacts and Accounts, the page layout of Ticketable Events and Event Instances are preset.  Your new field will always show up in the "Custom Fields" section.

If the field doesn't seem to be available in your reports, you'll need to add the field by editing the report type.
