Printer Configuration Steps - Boca: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/1196762

Ready to print tickets? First, you'll need to set up your Boca printer. Follow these steps to install the printer driver, configure the printer settings, and print a test ticket.

Go to http://www.bocasystems.com/ then go to the Support page.

On a PC, download the "Windows" printer driver.  For a Mac, select "Mac".

Choose your computer's operating system

3. Complete installation for your operating system

WINDOWS Installation
WINDOWS ONLY: Follow the steps in the Windows Driver Install Guide pdf.

3.2. Go to the steps for your Windows version

3.3. Plug in the printer and load the ticket stock

Plug the printer into your power supply and connect the printer to your computer.   Turn the printer on and wait five seconds.   The red CHECK PAPER led will be illuminated (if your printer has an optional LCD then it will display PAPER OUT).  Begin loading the tickets through the entrance slot with a smooth motion until the ticket stock comes to a stop (at this point the stock is between the thermal head and platen).  Keep pressure against the stock and the printer will automatically feed the ticket stock.

After the ticket stock has been automatically positioned, the green READY led will be illuminated and you can complete the Installation steps.

When loading 5.5" ticket stock, load the black timing mark into the printer first.

Connect the printer and load ticket stock.

3.4. Complete the steps in the Install Guide

Follow the Boca steps, except don't print out a test ticket quite yet - we'll set the Printing Preferences and print a test ticket later.

MAC Installation
MAC ONLY: Select the printer driver that is compatible with your OS

3.3. When you plug in the printer for Step 13, follow these instructions and load the ticket stock

After the ticket stock has been automatically positioned, the green READY led will be illuminated and you're ready to continue on to Step 4 and set the printing preferences.

When loading 5.5" ticket stock, load the black timing mark into the printer first.

Connect the printer and load ticket stock.

4. Set the Printing Preferences

From the "Devices and Printers" menu, right-click on your newly added Boca Printer and choose "Printing Preferences". Set the orientation according to your operating system...

Connect the printer and load ticket stock.

WINDOWS USERS:

  • Make sure the Orientation is set to "Landscape" - then click "Apply"
  • Click the button for "Advanced..."
  • Change the "Paper Size" from "Letter" to "Concert Ticket"
  • Click "OK", then click "OK" again

MAC USERS:

  • Leave the Orientation as "Portrait" (this is important!)
  • Select the Paper Size "5.5x2"
  • Click "OK"

Press the TEST button located on the control panel to print a test ticket. The test ticket will look like the sample above. Your printout may vary depending upon the dpi and configuration.

Verify that the printer properly works with PatronManager CRM by logging into your PatronManager CRM account and printing a ticket.
