Whether you're enabling mobile tickets for the first time or sprucing things up as your season and events change, there are several ways you can help your patrons and visitors get the most up-to-date information and keep your tickets looking great.

Images:
- Your mobile ticket logo (required)
- An optional logo override by Ticketable Event
- A Ticketable Event Image, for beautiful mobile tickets
Ever-present fields:
- Online ticket instructional text, to help your patrons understand what to do with mobile tickets
- Organization info, for things like your refund policy or code of conduct
Ticket-specific fields:
- Venue info, for things like public transit directions or parking details
- Ticketable Event info, for things like content warnings
- Run Time, to describe the length of the Event
- Event Instance info, for things like traffic warnings or performance-specific details (lobby discussions etc.)
- Ticket Notes, if you use them for important information for your patrons, like directions to an entrance
All these fields and images are optional except for the Mobile Ticket Logo, which is required. Which fields you use and what information you put in them is up to you!
Images
Mobile tickets have a logo and an optional event image. You can also override the logo by Ticketable Event if you wish.
Mobile Ticket Logo
Your logo is required for mobile tickets, but you can update it whenever you'd like. It appears on tickets in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet to help patrons identify your organization. Make sure your tickets are recognizable and look great!
1. Prepare your logo image
You'll need an image that meets these criteria:
- Square PNG or JPG file
- Small file size (the smallest that will still look nice and clear) so your mobile tickets load quickly (200 pixels square should be plenty, 660 pixels square is the max)
- Full-bleed background color (for best results, use the same background color as the header of your PTS - you can find this in your PTS Theme Builder)
- 15% margin so it works when cropped to a circle (happens automatically in Google Wallet)
Once you've got your image ready, move on to the next step!
2. In PatronTicket Settings, click the "Mobile Ticket Logo" button
You can get to PatronTicket Settings from the Waffle, or with a link at the top right corner of the PatronTicket Hub.
You'll find the "Mobile Ticket Logo" button at the bottom of the first section on the page:
4. Make sure it looks great
You'll see a preview with two versions of your logo. On the left you'll see the Apple Wallet version, and on the right the Google Wallet version, which is automatically cropped round. The preview appears against the same background color used for your mobile tickets (which may be colored or white, based on the theme of your Public Ticketing Site).
Make sure both versions look good (or if they don't, repeat the step above to upload a new image).
Mobile Ticket Logo Override (by Ticketable Event)
If you wish to replace your default mobile ticket logo on tickets in Apple and Google Wallet for a given Event, you can use the Mobile Ticket Logo Override image. You'll find this under the "Manage Content" button at the top of the Ticketable Event page.
1. Prepare your logo override image
The criteria are the same as for your normal Mobile Ticket Logo:
- Square PNG or JPG file
- Small file size (the smallest that will still look nice and clear) so your mobile tickets load quickly (200 pixels square should be plenty, 660 pixels square is the max)

3. Scroll down to "Mobile Ticket Logo Override", click "Choose File", select your image, then click "Update Images"
4. Make sure you're happy with the result
The Logo Override image preview is shown against the background color used for your mobile tickets (which may be white, depending on your PTS Theme).
Or if not, repeat step 3 above to upload a different image.
You can also delete the override logo by clicking "Delete Image" beneath the preview - this will revert back to your default Mobile Ticket Logo.
Mobile Ticket Event Image
If you want to make tickets in Apple and Google Wallet look extra snazzy, you can upload a splash image on the Ticketable Event. You'll find this under the "Manage Content" button at the top of the Event page, and it'll look like this:
1. Prepare your event image
Here are the image criteria:
- PNG or JPG file
- We generally recommend and aspect ratio of 3:1 (landscape) - in other words, a rectangular image that's three times wider than it is tall. For example, 600 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall works well.
- This is a general recommendation, which works well on many devices, but note that different devices crop images differently, so we suggest using an image that will work with slightly different cropping dimensions
- Small file size (the smallest that will still look nice and clear) so your mobile tickets load quickly (600 pixels wide should be plenty, 1125 pixels wide is the max)
- Solid background color (no transparent background)
- Do not use the image to convey text or essential information as these images do not support accessible alternate text and different devices crop images differently
Once you've got your image ready, move on to the next step!
3. Scroll down to "Mobile Ticket Event Image", click "Choose File", select your image, then click "Update Images"
4. Make sure you're happy with the result
The Event Image preview is shown against the background color used for your mobile tickets (which may be white, depending on your PTS Theme).
Or if not, repeat step 3 above to upload a different image.
You can also delete the Event Image entirely by clicking "Delete Image" beneath the preview.
Ever-present fields
Online Ticket Text
This text appears at the top of the online ticket page, and helps patrons understand what to do next. It does not appear on tickets inside Apple or Google Wallet. The default text is customizable, and reads:
Please have your tickets ready when you arrive. We recommend adding them to your mobile wallet, taking a screenshot and saving it to your device, or printing them ahead of time.
You'll find this field in the "Ticket Printing and Confirmation Email Settings" section in PatronTicket Settings, here:
This field has a 255 character limit.
You can get to PatronTicket Settings via the waffle, or by clicking the link at the top right corner of the PatronTicket Hub.
Mobile Ticket Organization Details
This text appears at the bottom of the online ticket (1) and on the back of tickets in Apple and Google Wallet (2). It's a great place to put things like your refund/exchange policy, code of conduct, and anything that applies to all tickets regardless of the event.
You'll find this field in the "Ticket Printing and Confirmation Email Settings" section in PatronTicket Settings, here:
This field has a 500 character limit.

Ticket-specific fields
Mobile Ticket Venue Details
This text appears in the detail for each ticket to an Event Instance at a given Venue (1), and on the back of tickets in Apple and Google Wallet (2). It's a great place to put things like public transit or parking info.
Your venue address is always visible on mobile tickets (and will open in the patron's map application) as long as you've populated the Address Information field on the Venue. There's no need to repeat the address in the Mobile Ticket Venue Details.

Mobile Ticket Event Details
This text appears in the detail for each ticket to a given Event (1), and on the back of tickets in Apple and Google Wallet (2). It's a great place to put things like content warnings, age restrictions, or other event-specific info.
You'll find this field on each Ticketable Event, here:
This field has a 255 character limit.
Run Time
This text appears in the detail for each ticket to a given Event (1), and on the back of tickets in Apple and Google Wallet (2). Use this to describe the length of the performance or event in plain text.
The words "Run Time" are included by default, don't add them again.

Mobile Ticket Instance Details
This text appears in the detail for each ticket to a given Event (1), and on the back of tickets in Apple and Google Wallet (2). It's a great place to put info that's specific to a particular Event Instance, like a note about a pre-concert lecture or a post-play discussion, a traffic warning specific to that day, etc.
You'll find this field on each Event Instance, here:
This field has a 255 character limit.
Ticket Notes
If your printed tickets include a note to direct patrons to a particular entrance, you're likely using Ticket Notes. You can enable Ticket Notes on your mobile tickets by checking the Display Ticket Notes on Mobile Tickets box in PatronTicket Settings.
Ticket Notes will then appear on mobile tickets for your patrons.
