How to Set Delivery Methods for Ticketable Events: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/1432508
Do you want to change which Delivery Methods are available for different Ticketable Events? For example, it may not make sense to ship tickets or have a will call for virtual events, or maybe you want to only want to allow shipping for subscriptions.
In this article we have steps to:
- Set supported Delivery Methods for your entire organization
- Enable or disable Delivery Methods by individual Ticketable Event
Finally, we have some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for you.
Once you determine which Delivery Methods you want to support, this process should take anywhere from 5-30 minutes, depending on how many Ticketable Events you need to adjust.
Set available Delivery Methods for your entire Event Inventory
1. Navigate to PatronTicket Settings via the PatronTicket Hub
2. Scroll to Delivery Settings to choose your available delivery methods
The values you choose here will determine the available Delivery Methods for your entire Event Inventory.
If you want events to appear on your Public Ticketing Site (PTS), you must have at least one of the following Delivery Methods enabled:
- Ship
- Will Call
Sure! Here are the Delivery Methods available to select and what each means:
- Email: Enabling this Delivery Method will send out mobile tickets or Print-at-Home tickets. For any single ticket orders with this Delivery Method, the ticket will be sent. For subscription orders with this Delivery Method, you will need to email the subscriber their tickets after fulfilling their subscription.
- Ship: This indicates that the patron would like their physical tickets shipped to them. Orders with this Delivery Method will notify the Order Fulfillment Administrator set in your PatronTicket Settings. This Delivery Method will only be available for orders that fit the criteria set in your Shipping Days Required field in PatronTicket Settings.
- Will Call: This Delivery Method indicates that the patron plans to pick up their tickets when they arrive. You will need to print these tickets the day of the event.
- Walk-Up: This Delivery Method is used for tickets purchased at your Box Office in-person. This Delivery Method is only available via the PatronManager Box Office that your employees use, and is not available on the Public Ticketing Site.

- Ship
- Will Call
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
When you create an order in the PatronManager Box Office (PMBO) or when a patron checks out on your Public Ticketing Site (PTS) for an event that has more than one Supported Delivery Method enabled, the Delivery Method field will default to one of the options.
While you and your patrons can always change the selected Delivery Method manually when creating each order, perhaps you want to push mobile tickets or would prefer to Ship tickets instead of holding them at Will Call. You can change the default Delivery Method from Setup.
When you set a default Delivery Method, this will change the default both for PMBO and the PTS.
2. In Object Manager, search for and select Patron Ticket Settings
Yup, there is a space between "Patron" and "Ticket" here!
4. Scroll to the Values section and click the Edit link next to the method you want as your default
In this example, we'll set Email as the default Delivery Method.
Now, when you create Ticket Orders in PMBO or on the PTS, Email will be the pre-set Delivery Method!
If the Delivery Method value you selected as the default is not appearing for an order, make sure that the Delivery Method is enabled for all Ticketable Events within that order.
Not at this time, but if there is a Delivery Method that you think would like to see or if you often find that you want to make custom Delivery Methods, submit a Product Idea and we're happy to consider this for the future!
