How to Clone Events

When you're creating a new event, it's usually easier to clone an existing event than it is to make a new event from scratch. This is especially true if you want to use the same Venue, Seating Type, Allocations and Price Levels as an existing event.

Here's how to clone:

1. Click on the App Launcher

3. Click the name of the Event you'd like to clone

4. Click "Clone"

5. Change the name to the name of your new Event

6. Confirm Seating Chart - Pick Your Own Seat venues will be cloned along with your reserved seating event instances!

7. Include Ticket Allocations, Ticket Price Levels, and Ticket Seat Notes in your cloned instances

8. Uncheck the discount codes box if you don't want existing discount codes to apply to this Event

9. Decide which Event Instances you want to clone (you'll be changing the dates and times, so just clone however many Instances you want the new Event to have). Just make sure your venue and seating types are correct when cloning those instances!

10. Clone!

11. Make any necessary changes to the Event fields and click "Save"

12. Scroll down to the Event Instances and click "Edit All"

13. Adjust the Instance names, dates, sale start and end dates, and make them active - then click "Save"

14. When you've made all the adjustments you need to, click "Edit" at the top of the Event

15. Check the "Active" box and click "Save"
