Sometimes you'll want to either add or subtract tickets from your available quantity for an Event Instance. Doing this for a PYOS Event will require reallocating seats. For a GA event, you can adjust the quantity directly. Here's how.

1. Head to the PatronTicket Hub to get to Event Inventory

2. Click on the Event you want to adjust

3. Scroll down and click on the instance you want to adjust

4. Get your bearings! Before you adjust the amount of tickets, it's important to understand how many tickets you originally had, how many have been sold, and how many remain

  1. Original Quantity tells you how many tickets were available when this Event was set up
  2. Retail Quantity tells you how many tickets are currently available

Figuring out how many seats have been sold is not quite as simple as subtracting these two numbers, because it's possible that someone has manually adjusted them the way we're doing now.

So, we'll determine the Event Instance's true Original Quantity of tickets with the Total Capacity field:

5. In the "Ticket Allocations" section, click "Edit All"

6. Find the "Quantity Adjustment" field for the allocation you want to adjust

7. To add seats, put the number of seats you want to add in this field and click "Save"

8. To remove seats, use a negative number in the same field
