Securing Your Public Ticketing Site (PTS): https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/1292934

If you're reading this article, it's likely that either:

  • You were sent here by someone on the PatronManager team
  • You noticed a "Venue Extraction" error
  • You noticed your seat maps aren't displaying properly on your PTS
  • Your mobile tickets are displaying an error message

Either way, you'll need to complete one or more of the following steps:

  1. Extract your venues from the legacy PTS
  2. Secure your PTS

1. Extract your venues from the legacy PTS

Venue extraction is the process of copying over your venue files from the old public ticketing site to the new one. This will make sure that your venues appear correctly on the PTS, with all the correct seats and sections.

If you don't have any reserved seating venues (with seating charts), you can skip this step.

You do not need to extract general admission venues (without seating charts).

Click here to extract your venues

1.1. Open the app launcher - search for and click on Venues

1.2. Click on the Venue Extractor link to bring all your venues to the new PTS

Don't have the Venue Extractor link? Submit a case via the Client Community and our team can get this done for you!

1.3. Check the box next to the Name column to select all venues, and click "Extract Venues"

If you've extracted certain individual venues in the past, no worries! Extracting them again won't do any harm.

1.4. You'll wait for a moment

Bulk venue extraction can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on how many venues you're extracting.

1.5. When it's done you'll see a pop-up - click "OK"

1.6. Another pop-up will tell you the Venue extraction is complete - click "OK" again

1.7. The Status for all your venues should say "Completed"

1.8. Check that your venues are showing up correctly on the PTS

To confirm, you can click the link to your PTS at the bottom of the PatronTicket Hub:

2. Secure the PTS

It's time to enable a few security settings that make the PTS safer for you and your patrons.

Click here to secure the new PTS

2.1. Go to Setup and use the Quick Find to search for and select Sites

2.2. Next to PatronTicket, click Edit

2.3. Click the magnifying glass next to the Active Site Home Page field

2.4. In the pop-up, search for and click on PublicTicketApp

2.5. Make sure these settings are correct

  1. Clickjack Protection Level: Don't allow framing by any page (Most protection)
  2. Enable Content Sniffing Protection: checked
  3. Enable Browser Cross Site Scripting Protection: checked
  4. Referrer URL protection: checked

2.6. Click Save
