How to Report on Retail: https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/2008474
If you're selling Retail in PatronManager, it's important to be able to report on how your Retail sales are doing.
In this article, we'll go over:
Let's go!
Financial Reporting for Retail
Retail is already included in several of your built-in Financial reports, like the Daily Sales Report
Additionally, from a Retail Category, you can run a Product Summary Report, which is just like an Event Summary Report.
And a Performance Report on each Product Type!
Custom Reporting for Retail
Retail is built using the same underlying structure as Ticketable Events and Event Instances and is sold via Ticket Orders. Because of this, you can create custom reports about Retail using report types that are event- or ticket-based.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following report types:
- Ticket Orders with Ticket Order Items
- Ticket Orders with Ticket Order Items and Contact
- Ticket Orders with ticket Order Items and Discount Code
- Ticket Orders and Ticket Order Items
- TOs with TOIs and Event Instance Info
- This report type is used for the Door List, which you can run for Retail!
- Events, Instances, Allocations, and Price Levels
Additionally, you can create custom report types from Setup based on Ticketable Events, Event Instances, and Ticket Order Items if you'd like even more reporting options!
At this time, Retail is not included in CRM Snapshots. If you'd like to be able to run CRM Snapshots on Retail, submit a Product Idea!
Have a great idea for a Retail report that you think would be great for other organizations too? Make sure to submit a Product Idea!
Want to find out which patrons purchased a specific Product Type, like Cookies or the playbill for a specific event? From the Retail Inventory, on the Product Type page, use the View Buyer Report button to pull up a list!
This will bring up the Door List Template with the patrons who purchased that specific Product Type.
