If you need to change something about your venue after you've gone through the initial build process, you'll be able to use this article as a roadmap for your project.  

Generally, changes to a venue fall into one of three categories:

A) Change to the physical layout of the seats in your venue

When you need to add, delete, or move seats on your seat map:

  • You won't be able to make these changes on your own - submit a Venue Edit request here. You'll see details there about pricing and timeline. Make sure to start this project as early as possible!

B) Update information about the seats in your venue, or groups of seats in your venue

When you need to add, update, or remove notifications about specific seats - called Seat Notes - such as "Accessible" or "Obstructed View":

  • Add or update seat notes for a specific Event Instance by following these instructions.
  • Add or update seat notes for a specific Event Instance using General Seating by following these instructions.
  • Remove seat notes for a specific Event Instance using Reserved Seating by following these instructions.
  • Remove seat notes for a specific Event Instance using General Seating by reallocating seats out of the section with the offending seat note. 
  • If you need to add, update, or remove seat notes permanently, and for all future Event Instances, you'll need our assistance - you can submit this as a Venue Edit.

When you need to reallocate seats or create holds - that is, move seats between Allocations:

  • Reallocate or hold seats for a specific Event Instance by following these instructions.
  • Reallocate or hold seats for multiple Event Instances at once by following these instructions.

When you need to change the color of a group of seats on your seat map:

  • Change the color of Allocations on one specific Event Instance by editing color values on the Event Instance page.  More information on how to edit Allocations can be found in our "Introduction to Ticketable Events in PatronManager" help article.
  • If you need to change the color of many Allocations across multiple Event Instances or Events, we can assist with a Venue Edit.

C) Update information about the venue itself, not the seats

When you need to update your venue's name, address, parking instructions, or other information that appears on the public ticketing site:
