Create Other Account Types During Qualification

You'll now have the ability to create Accounts with Record Types other than Household or Individual when qualifying -- it can be Business, Foundation, Government or any others you may have.

If you'd like to add more record types to that list, let us know.

Manage Scheduled Box Office Reports

If you've set up any Scheduled Box Office Reports, chances are you’ve wanted to cancel one of those scheduled reports at one time or another. Until now, you've needed to contact us to do that; with this release, you’ll be able to manage your scheduled reports right from the Box Office Reports tab and clicking the Manage Scheduled Reports link.

Improvements to Recurring Donations

You're now able to add custom fields to your recurring donations, both internally and on your public recurring donation form. All of this information will be applied across each payment in the recurring donation. We've also made the list of recurring donations visible on Accounts.

"Donation Origin" Field

We’ve added a new field to make keeping track of your donations a little bit easier. The Donation Origin field can tell you whether a Donation was entered online or in the office, and if it was submitted online, you'll also see the name of the form from which it was submitted.

Better Search Results

We've added a lot of metadata on the back end of our help articles, which means the search function will be much better at returning the articles that you need. When you need to look something up in the help tab, the search bar can be your first stop.

We've been hard at work over the last few months adding new articles to the CRM Help Tab. In fact, we added so many that we needed to do some reorganization. Our help articles are now split into two manuals: Introduction to PatronManager, and How-To.

Bug Fixes

We're getting rid of as many of these pesky guys as possible:

Ticketing Bug Fixes

  • Cleaned up the mechanics of the Daily Sales Report to allow for larger date ranges.
  • Corrected behind-the-scenes behavior of the Event Summary Report that prevented it from e-mailing on schedule in some cases.
  • Fixed the Daily Sales Report to accommodate multiple Events with the same GL Code.
  • No longer automatically mark pick-later subscription items as filled.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Box Office Express to choose an inactive (!) price level in some cases.
  • Fixed a bug that caused "Ticket Order Refund Donations" to have the incorrect value for the “Processing Status” field.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the “Sales Collected” and/or “Include Receivables” buttons to be hidden in some cases.
  • Corrected confusing text when refunding Partially Paid Orders.
  • Prevented Box Office Express from accepting orders without last names (unless there's no first name either).
  • Improved the Ticket Order Import tool so that it accepts more than 100 rows at a time.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed events in a Choose Your Own subscription package to be available online after the Sale End Date.
  • Fixed a bug that replaced Section labels with a blank value when cloning Events.
  • Revealed the “Formatted Name” field on the create page for Ticketable Events.
  • Several fixes to improve the behavior of "To Be Qualified" Ticket Orders that have been refunded.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed ticket orders to be refunded as donations even if they had not been qualified.
  • Improved logic for Choose Your Own Subscriptions so that events cannot be added to the package after they have already occurred.

Donation Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused a radio button with no value to appear on the public Donation form (mysterious...).
  • Corrected Donation form acknowledgment behavior to use the email template selected in the Donation form setup.
  • Clarified the error message when a recurring donation fails.

Qualification/Other Bug Fixes

  • Corrected the behavior that automatically selected all fields from the new Contact during qualification, even if the value was blank. We won’t automatically select blanks anymore if possible.
  • Corrected column headers in qualification to say “Donation Info” and “Ticket Order Info” when applicable.
  • Added an error message to help you change the Contact owner of a Contact that needs to be qualified if the Contact Owner is Inactive.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some fields on existing Contacts to be modified during qualification even when explicitly stating that’s not what you wanted.
  • Suppressed an automatic behavior that created Individual Accounts for To Be Qualified Contacts in some cases.
  • Fixed several bugs that were replacing the values of some fields with blanks during qualification.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Global Search button from working in some cases.
