After 15 years of providing our PatronMail service to the arts industry, we will be discontinuing it as of February 15, 2017. (We sent out an email about this earlier this month to specific contacts at all affected organizations -- if you didn't receive it, check with your colleagues and/or let us know so we can update our records!)

If you've been reading these release notes regularly, you know that for the last six years we've been focusing all our energy and resources on developing new features for PatronManager. In that timeframe, email marketing technology has progressed significantly, to the point where PatronMail isn’t nearly as richly featured as other systems in the market. But since email is still the #1 most effective digital marketing tool, we believe that you should be able to use the best possible email marketing system available.

That's why we've partnered with Emma, a leading email provider which services over 50,000 clients, including over 2,000 non-profits. Together we have just completed building a new integration with PatronManager.

With this integration, you’ll use Emma in a very similar way as you’ve used PatronMail in the past:  You'll use their templates to design great emails, send campaigns to lists of PatronManager contacts (no importing/exporting!), and automatically see the response data synced back to PatronManager.
