Getting Started (December 2015): https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/465642

This article is old!  Wouldn't you rather read something... fresher?

There may be outdated information or suggestions in this article that made sense at the time of the release, but no longer.  For the most up-to-date information about this topic, use a keyword in the search bar above.  If you're looking for more current release notes, you can find those here.

If you're used to the previous version of Box Office Express, once you're upgraded to the new one, getting started will be easy.

On the Desktop

You'll be able to access the new Box Office Express through the exact same path as before. Use either the link at the top of the PatronTicket Orders tab:

On the Desktop

Or look to the Custom Links on your left side of your PatronManager homepage:

On the Tablet

There's an app for that! If you want to make your box office mobile, make sure to check out this article about what device and accessories you'll need. After you're all set up with your device, download the app from the Google Play Store by searching for "PatronTicket Box Office Express".

Adjust Your Settings

On both the tablet and the desktop, you’re prompted to configure your session with a few settings. First, choose the date you’d like to sell tickets for (it defaults to “today”).

Adjust Your Settings

Then, decide if you’d like the option to waive item fees on an ad-hoc basis, or waive them automatically on all orders.

Next, determine the printing method you’d like to use: you can print to your regular ticket printer, email tickets to patrons as PDF attachments (which is new in this version of Box Office Express), or do neither, and just send people into the venue after their purchase.

Finally, choose the events you’d like to sell during this session -- remember, select all the performances you anticipate selling during the entire time you’re in Box Office Express, not just the order you’re handling right now.

Once you’ve selected all the correct settings, click or tap “Start” to begin. You're on your way!

Get Your Bearings

Use these simple navigational tips to help you know exactly what to do and where to go at all times.

The navy blue menu bar at the top is your navigation bar.

The light blue button on the right is your path forward. It’ll always advance you to the next step in the order process.

The gray buttons on the left change depending on where you are in the order process. Sometimes you’ll see the buttons pictured below; other times, you'll see different options, such as “Send Conf Email” or “Print Tickets”.

The gear button takes you back to the setup page.

Now You're Ready to Go!

In the next article, you'll learn the steps of how to process an order in the new Box Office Express.
