Bug Fixes (February 2016): https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/485143

This article is old!  Wouldn't you rather read something... fresher?

There may be outdated information or suggestions in this article that made sense at the time of the release, but no longer.  For the most up-to-date information about this topic, use a keyword in the search bar above.  If you're looking for more current release notes, you can find those here.

We've addressed performance issues throughout all of PatronManager. Read on for more specific information.

Internal Ticket Sales

  • Fixed one scenario that falsely triggers the "Ticket Order Modified in other tab" error in the Quick Order Form.
  • Fixed a couple of scenarios in which Comp items weren't cooperating in exchanges.
  • Retain discount code in all scenarios when a 100% off discount code is used.
  • Better handling of address field updates in the Ticket Order qualification process.
  • Correctly apply discounts to all items in the cart when “Apply to all Seats” checkbox is checked in Box Office Express.
  • Reinstated ability to delete a "Pending Renewal" order.
  • Properly set Entry Method for Subscription Renewal Orders.
  • Payment method selection for downcharges and refunds is now a picklist to better support custom payment methods.
  • Sales Summary Report now displays quantities that are consistent for orders prior to the May 2015 release.
  • Fixed several scenarios in which Box Office reports could show a discrepancy.
  • Display the "includes reserved and partially paid orders" note in the Event Summary Report.
  • No longer split ticket orders in half while Batch Printing.
  • Updated the Description/Help Text for the Ticketable Event field in the Group Sales page layout.
  • More accurate labeling when seat assignments have no Season attached.
  • Friendlier errors when an Event Instance has more than 1,000 price levels.

Public Ticketing Site

  • Patrons can now use more than one access code in a browsing session without clearing cookies(!).
  • Fixed an issue where PDF tickets were not emailed out when a Salesforce critical update was enabled.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented portal users from completing a renewal online.
  • Fixed a typo in password reset message -- patrons will now "receive" their passwords instead of "recieving" them.
  • Properly hide Shipping Information in the plaintext Order Confirmation Template for non-Ship orders.
  • Portal orders now properly display a null Order Source.

Credit Card Processing

  • Fixed several bugs that blocked canceling credit card donations.
  • Prevent Donation from being saved as Posted and Credit Card before payment is processed.
  • Credit card donations now use same CCV2 error trapping as Ticket Orders.
  • Prevent form-fillers from autocompleting Credit Card number and CVV2 form fields in PatronDonate.
  • Friendlier errors when a credit card cannot be processed.
  • Better handling of unnecessary spaces in CVV2/Expiration Date fields on the Public Ticketing Site.

Other Fixes

  • Block refund of Donations with Donation Origin of "Ticket Order", and prevent changes to all system values of Donation Origin.
  • Friendlier error message when a donation email template is not in place.
  • During qualification, we no longer overwrite most fields (except multi-select picklists, checkboxes, and fully blank address fields) with blanks.
  • Added support for Android Marshmallow (version 6.0) to barcode scanning app.

A Quick Look Back at 2015

Hey, remember 2015? If you're a new user or if you just want to refresh your memory, upgrades to PatronManager last year included improvements to CRM Snapshots, a complete under-the-hood retooling of subscription transactions, a better method for managing group sales (including "lasso" and "paintbrush" seat selection), and a completely redesigned Box Office Express, making it tablet-friendly for the first time ever!

Congratulations!

That's the end of the release notes. Good job! Here's a video of a dog teaching another dog how to use a slide.
