This article is old! Wouldn't you rather read something... fresher?
There may be outdated information or suggestions in this article that made sense at the time of the release, but no longer. For the most up-to-date information about this topic, use a keyword in the search bar above. If you're looking for more current release notes, you can find those here.
You asked for a better way to manage your group sales, and we heard you! We've improved the process for handling large ticket orders, including some nifty features that many of you have been requesting.
In this release, you can now...
- Select many seats at once with the new "lasso" or "paintbrush" seat selector, during ticket sales and reallocation
- Keep track of how many seats you are selecting with a seat selection counter
- Add many more seats at at time to a PYOS order
- View pending money from Reservations in your Event Summary Report and your Performance Report
- Print tickets and send emails on Reservations
- Using the new process for group sales, add or remove tickets from a large ticket order even after taking a deposit.

But first, in case you missed them...
Here's what we've already released in 2015!
- A redesigned CRM Snapshots tab with added filters and functionality to existing snapshots to make reporting on your patrons even easier and more flexible
- Subscription reporting improvements that help you run more detailed and meaningful reports on your subscription performances
- A "minimum number of unique events" discount code for more flexible "mini-subscription" offerings, and images on your point of sale printed tickets for even more branding possibilities
- Clearer information on the completely revamped Daily Sales Report to keep everyone from box office to finance on the same page
- More flexibility for renewing subscribers across venues and from year to year.
- More granular options for filtering several Box Office Reports
And coming soon...
Have you ever shopped in a store where you pay by swiping your card on a tablet held by a salesperson in an aisle, rather than waiting on the cash register line? Well, we're working on something cool!
Later this fall, we'll be pilot-testing a brand new version of Box Office Express, designed especially for use on a tablet. This is your chance to break free of the physical confines of the box office and sell tickets -- and swipe credit cards -- from anywhere you want. (The lobby? The sidewalk in front of your venue? The park down the street? The moon?*)
We're telling you this because we're looking to invite a few interested clients to test this out before the full release! If that's you, click here to let us know you're interested.
(And if this sounds fun but you're not quite ready to try it out, the Community Meeting at the end of the month will be a great place to catch a sneak preview.)
(*Okay, probably not the moon.)
