New Add Tickets Path: How to Get Ready and Activate (February 2017): https://help.pm.leapevent.tech/a/690794

It Won't Happen Until You Say So!

This release will be installed in your account in the coming weeks, but it will not be activated immediately. Instead, we're giving you time to prepare yourself and your staff for the upgrade.

We suggest you use the preparedness checklist below to get your organization ready to activate and use the directions below to turn on the new Path.

Your organization will have until early June to do this on your own schedule. But note — if you have not activated the new Add Tickets Path by the week of June 12, we will activate it automatically then.

How to Prepare to Activate...

Make sure you’ve crossed all the t's and dotted the i's before you make the switch! We don’t want anyone to come to work and discover an entirely new way to sell tickets unprepared. So to help you prepare for the transition, we’ve prepared a readiness checklist:

1. Has the PatronManager decision-maker for your organization read all of the documentation?

Make sure you've educated yourself by reading the Release Notes and all available help materials thoroughly before activating.

2. Has everyone been trained?

Don't surprise your box office colleagues with new functionality. Make sure they AT LEAST read the Release Notes. Better yet, have a special training session with your staff to teach them how to use the new Path, give them a chance to practice during off-hours, and encourage them to seek out answers to their questions by  attending the Release Notes Webinar.

3. Are you inadvertently selling subscription price levels as single tickets?

If you're selling single tickets using subscription price levels, make sure you're aware that the new, streamlined Add Tickets Path no longer includes them for single ticket sales. Reducing the number of price levels available means your box office staff will be able to make decisions more quickly.

If you have no idea what we're talking about, please learn more about subscription price level visibility here.

4. Have you started using the Event Category field?

This Event field has been in PatronManager for a while, but it hasn't had much of a purpose for most of you until now. You can now use that field to help you filter and find the types of Events your patrons are looking for more quickly and efficiently. Learn more about the field here

5. Are you using Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge?

The New Add Tickets Path is compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Make sure everyone on your box office staff is using one of those browsers before enabling.

Now Activate!

Over the next few months, you’ll have the chance to activate and experience the new Add Tickets Path on your own timeline so that you have the chance to complete all of the steps in the checklist above.

When you're ready, you can activate the new Add Tickets Path by checking the "Activate New Add Tickets Path" checkbox in the PatronTicket Settings tab.

We’re planning for this trial period to come to an end in early May, at which time we’ll automatically install the new Add Tickets Path in your account.
