V2 Donation Forms have been available since the May 2020 release, and legacy Donation Form were retired in early 2022. V2 Donation Forms are way more customizable, and have a lot of great options that didn't exist on the old forms.
This article is geared toward folks in the process of switching from a legacy form to a V2 form. We'll go over:

1. Create a V2 Donation Form (if you haven't already)
If you've already got a V2 Donation Form up and running, great - you can move on to step 2.
Otherwise, start by setting up a new V2 form with these steps, then come back here!
2. Replace the link from your legacy form with the new form's link
You may need to rope in your marketing team or web developer for this step.
Open your V2 Donation Form in PatronManager and copy the Public URL, here:
Replace the link to your legacy Donation Form with this URL wherever it may exist. This will vary by organization, so check with your colleagues to make sure you don't miss anything. Examples include:
- Your website
- Your social media pages
- Email templates in your email marketing program
- Email templates you've customized in PatronManager
