Facility Management - Now in Beta!

We're pleased to announce that a new suite of tools for managing your facility rentals in PatronManager is now in beta! If your organization rents out venues and wants to start managing rentals directly in PatronManager, this is your chance.

From time to time, PatronManager releases features in early access through our beta program. By joining a beta, you get early access to new tools and the opportunity to provide feedback that can shape their development. Its a win-win!

Overview

Heres a quick look at what you can do with the Facility Management feature.

  • Centralized Rental & Ticketing Calendar: View rentals and events in a single, customizable calendar for a comprehensive overview of all activities. Avoid double-booking and ensure smooth transitions!
  • Enhanced Collaboration: Foster teamwork with shared access to rental history and pipeline tracking. Facilitate communication and preserve institutional knowledge where you can find it.
  • 360 Data: By managing rentals directly in PatronManager, you gain a complete view of your patrons, making it easy to invite renters to events and encourage them to become members and donors.
  • Familiar Financial Reporting: Track rental payments alongside all your other income and keep everything in one place.

What does participating in the beta entail?

Participating in the beta is exciting - here's what it looks like:

First, you'll join the Facility Management beta group in the PatronManager Client Community: your go-to hub for everything related to the beta. Here, you'll find resources, get important updates from the PatronManager product team, share feedback, ask questions, and exchange best practices with fellow beta testers.

And of course, you'll start managing your rentals through PatronManager! In this phase, you'll be able to:

  • Create an inventory of rentable assets
  • Track rentals through the pipeline
  • Manage tasks and outbound communications
  • Process payments

What you're agreeing to as a beta tester

  • Use the feature to manage your rentals
  • Join the conversation in the community group to ask questions and share input with the product team and fellow testers
  • Share your thoughts in occasional feedback surveys and questions from the product team posted in the group

Terms and conditions

Please review the conditions of the beta program.

  1. There is no guaranteed support for features in beta: We actively encourage feedback and want to know if anything isn't working well, but there is no set response time for questions nor a specified timeline for fixing bugs. If the feature does not work as you expect or if you encounter problems using it, your only immediate solution will be to stop using the feature.
  2. Features in beta are subject to change, and may be discontinued: Because this feature is still in development, it is likely to change. There is also a chance that we might run into unforeseen issues that require us to temporarily or permanently disable the feature. If you're uncomfortable using a feature that may change in design or functionality, participating in a beta program may not be a good fit for you.
  3. Fees are subject to change: Using Facility Management in PatronManager is free during the beta period. This does not guarantee that the feature will remain fee exempt once it is officially launched.
  4. Beta documentation: Documentation for betas isn't as extensive as it will be once the features are fully released, so be ready to dive in and explore on your own.
