Mobile Ticket Improvements
Easily promote sponsors and sell ad space with dedicated space for images and text on digital tickets.
Just check the "Display Ticket Images on Web Page" box in PatronTicket Settings and add your images and text to the existing mobile ticket fields.
Your patrons will see your content whenever they view their tickets, whether by clicking the link in their email, adding them to their Apple or Google Wallet, or printing them out. Simple and seamless!
To help you make the most of images, we’ve improved the preview in the image uploader so it more accurately reflects the size, aspect ratio, and cropping used on mobile tickets.
Other Updates

Help your onsite team recognize and thank your most valuable patrons at the door.
You can see handy badges in PatronManager Box Office to alert you if a patron is a member, subscriber, major donor, and more. With this release, you'll also see that information when you scan their ticket or look up their order in the new scanning app!
To improve security and reduce potential confusion, the links in confirmation emails to view tickets and membership cards will now expire. The timeframe is customizable:
- Ticket links expire on the Instance End Date (if defined on the Event Instance). Otherwise, the link stops working 72 hours after the Instance Date.
- Membership card links expire based on the Portal visibility setting (if defined in PatronTicket Settings). Otherwise, the link stops working 30 days after the membership expires.
Due to a previous Stripe limitation, it wasn't possible to save a card for future use if the patron provided that card by tapping to pay in person with their Apple or Google Wallet.
That limitation was recently removed, so it is now possible to save a card for future use even in those in-person digital wallet scenarios. Great for selling auto-renewing memberships in person!
When you refund a membership that was set for auto-renewal, that action also cancels the auto-renewal just as you'd expect.
Previously, however, the Auto-Renewal status field on the related Benefit record didn't update after the refund, and would still indicate that Auto-Renewal was On.
Now, that Benefit field updates when the refund is processed, avoiding any potential confusion for your users about whether or not the membership will automatically renew (it will not).
We improved the semantic structure of the PTS, providing more clear labeling and anchoring for patrons using assistive technologies like screen readers and keyboard navigation.
Previously, non-System Administrators were unable to clone reserved seating Event Instances.
This has been fixed; as long as the user has the correct PatronManager Permission Sets, they can now clone Event Instances as expected.
The Opportunity Object in Salesforce is used for Donations but also for lots of other things, including facility rental payments (now in beta!) and group sale processing.
To alleviate confusion, we've relabeled the "Donor" field on this object to "Contact", which more clearly defines the relationship of the patron to the record across all use cases.
That's all for this release!
