There's no change to how you handle online donations, but since we're no longer storing credit card information in PatronManager, the steps for manually processing offline credit card donations has changed slightly.
Create a Donation
Begin as you do now, by creating a new donation record and filling in the details (date, amount, type, fund, payment type, etc.).
Select a Payment Type, but don't enter credit card information
You can't enter the credit card information on this page -- those fields don't appear here. Just fill out the rest of the info and click Save.
Process Credit Card Transaction
After saving, click "Process Credit Card Transaction."
Enter the credit card number and other info on the Process Credit Card Donation page. The card will be processed and the Transaction ID field will be filled in, but the actual credit card information isn't stored in PatronManager.
