Auto-select the right Acknowledgment Template for Recurring Donations

We’ve made the Donation Form tool smarter, so that if you change the form type from Single to Recurring, the Acknowledgment Template will automatically change to the Recurring Donation template for you. (Before, when you created a Recurring Donation Form, it was easy to forget to adjust the Acknowledgment Template.)

We’ll now do that step for you, making sure that your patrons will receive the proper acknowledgment for their donation, and you won’t even have to think about it!

More Helpful Error Message during Online Ticket Sales

You may have received reports in the past of patrons receiving an error that says something like “Credit Card number is required,” even though the patron entered their credit card number.

This error wasn't specific enough, and was even somewhat misleading, because many times, what's really going on is that the patron's computer has a strict firewall policy or privacy app set up, preventing it from communicating with the payment processor.

The new error is: “We are unable to reach the payment processor due to security restrictions on your network. Please contact us for assistance,” which gives the patron a better sense of why the error is occurring and how they might go about addressing it.
